Since our inception, AVIO has pursued a single objective: to provide the highest quality aeronautical services and inspire the full trust of every customer. We have a team of more than 300 specialized technicians. Below is a detailed account of our history:
Year 2013
AVIO Foundation in Lima
AVIO S.A.C. was founded in Lima, Peru, on November 14, 2013, with the vision of becoming a national and international benchmark in aircraft maintenance.
Year 2015
05/01/2015 – DGAC Peru Certification (OMA No. 079)
We received approval as a Maintenance Organization (RAP-145) from the General Directorate of Civil Aeronautics of Peru.
03/24/2015 – Recognition by the Chilean Directorate General of Agriculture (CMAE No. E-596)
Our OMA 079 is recognized to provide maintenance services for Chilean aeronautical products and components.
Year 2016
Start of service provision
Comenzamos oficialmente nuestras operaciones de mantenimiento de línea, base y accesorios aeronáuticos.
Year 2018
Launch of the Aeronautical Material Depot at the AIJCH
We implemented our first warehouse accredited as an Aeronautical Material Depot (DMA) in the primary zone, allowing us to benefit from the special customs regime that exempts the entry of materials and tools necessary for our operations under a streamlined customs regime with 24/7 support in cases of AOG.
Year 2019
Opening of Avio Chile S.A.
We expanded our operations to Chile with the creation of Avio Chile S.A. in Santiago, replicating our quality standards and obtaining CMAE certification No. E-596 from the Chilean General Directorate of Agricultural Development (DGAC).
Year 2020
Integration of Non-Destructive Testing
We've added ultrasound, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant to our workshops, enabling internal inspections without disassembling components.
Year 2021
Launch of the Facilities Workshop
We launched our dry/wet engine washing, test bench repair, and tool maintenance services, optimizing time and reducing risk.
Year 2022
“Peruvian Company of the Year” Award
AVIO was recognized as Peruvian Company of the Year 2022 for its commitment to operational safety, quality, and efficiency in aeronautical services.
Year 2023
Advanced Borescope and APU Capabilities
We've added specialized borescope inspection services and expanded our Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) overhaul service with advanced calibrations and functional testing.
